Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional care in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure the functionality of imaging equipment by conducting routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay current with advancements in CT technology and medical imaging practices.
- Adhere to all practice policies, medical terminology standards, and regulatory guidelines related to patient care and imaging procedures.
Experience
- CT Technologist is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical imaging techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in patient care.
Pay: $42.00 - $60.00 per hour
