Become a vital part of a hospital team in Winston-Salem, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging studies for adult and pediatric patients, administer contrast material, operate CT equipment, and support high-volume inpatient and outpatient workflows. You will collaborate with the care team to facilitate timely imaging for trauma, stroke, oncology, transplant, and other acute and chronic conditions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT-CT certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience. First-time travelers accepted if CT experience is met.
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient CT procedures, including stroke protocols, arterial and routine scans, and contrast administration via peripheral IVs and power ports/PICC lines.
  • Ability to work with pediatric, ICU, and trauma patients and manage drains, lines, and tubes.
  • IV start skills and radiation safety knowledge.
  • Experience using EPIC and PACS workflows.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and perform desk duties such as patient flow, scheduling, and phone communication.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiac CT experience preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens Alpha Photon Counting systems preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center or academic medical center preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift pattern: 4x10s.
  • Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Floating required between main tower and cancer center as needed.

You will support diagnostic and interventional imaging services at a high-volume academic hospital with Level 1 trauma designation and comprehensive specialty centers. Your work will contribute to timely stroke, trauma, oncology, transplant, and cardiac patient care and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
