Computed Topography (CT) Technologist {169107}

Location: Royal Oak, MI (On-site)

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | 12-hour shifts | Every other weekend rotation

Pay: $36-$45/hr

• Perform diagnostic CT scans using appropriate CT imaging equipment and protocols
• Verify patient identification and provider orders prior to each exam
• Educate patients and families on CT procedures, contrast expectations, and safety steps
• Obtain accurate patient history and document appropriately in the medical record
• Operate CT equipment confidently and complete required quality control (QC) / quality assurance (QA) checks
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol as needed
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and imaging leadership regarding STAT and routine exams
• Maintain a clean, stocked exam room and ensure equipment is wiped down between patients
• Use hospital computer systems to verify orders, view schedules, and send images to PACS

• Associate’s Degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross)
• 1–3 years of experience as a radiographer (CT experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CT workflow, patient positioning, and radiation safety (ALARA)
• Comfortable in an acute-care/hospital setting with night shift coverage
