Computer Aided Design Designer

Payrate: $36.00- $36.00/hr.
 
Summary:
The Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed models & drawings using software based on instructions, sketches, and layouts provided. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to produce high-quality models & drawings for various projects. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Prepare models & drawings using software according to provided instructions.
• Perform model & drawing changes and revisions as directed by engineers or project managers.
• Receive close supervision, instruction, and review of work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Follow modeling & drafting practices and procedures to produce clear and concise consumable models & drawings.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines. 

• Associate’s degree (Technology or Drafting or like) plus experience; or related vocational technical high school program. 
• Proficiency in software. 
• Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures. Example: Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $36.00 - $36.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
