About the role:

\n

As the Cad Designer, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate shop drawings. These will be reviewed and approved first by the client and then by the Production Manager. The next step they will be sent to shop to use in production. You will report to the Project Manager.

\n

\n

Your Responsibilities will include:

\n

\n

Project Overview

\n

·       Review blueprints in coordination with the contract item.

\n

·       Record which areas will require extra attention to detail during the field measurement.

\n

·       Schedule drawings to be completed.

\n

\n

Finish Schedule

\n

·       Create a list of all materials and hardware needed and also identify nonstandard and special-order materials.

\n

\n

Shop Drawings

\n

·       Complete shop drawings in a timely and accurate manner and produce all necessary views for the items.

\n

·       Submit all necessary notes and drawings to the project manager for approval of all necessary materials and colors.

\n

·       Perform any necessary revisions to drawings promptly.

\n

\n

You will know if you are right for the job if you have…

·        Experience in architectural millwork and custom cabinetry

\n

·        Several years of hands-on drafting experience

\n

·        High proficiency in AutoCAD.

\n

·        Strong mathematical and visualization skills

\n

·        Knowledge of woodworking/construction techniques and experience with 3D software is a plus.

\n

·        A strong work ethic; a desire to grow and achieve.

\n

·        Valid Drives License

\n

·        Reliable Automobile
