CAD Technician (Entry-Level) – Utility DesignThe CAD Technician will support engineering, right-of-way, land survey, and permitting teams to develop high-quality utility construction plans. This is a great entry-level opportunity to build your AutoCAD skills and gain hands-on experience in utility design while working alongside industry experts on high-profile projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating utility construction drawings using AutoCADSupport development of permit drawings, including erosion and sediment control plansRevise and update plans based on feedback from lead designersLearn utility design and construction standards, including telecom and infrastructure projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverablesRequired QualificationsBasic knowledge of AutoCADStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentPreferred QualificationsExposure to telecommunications, fiber, or utility construction/designAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., CAD, drafting, engineering, or construction)CompensationExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
