St. Mary School is looking for a dedicated, dynamic Computer and Communications teacher/director for our small, private school. Current position has flexibility - 2-3 days a week and willing to look at other qualifications to increase time if a more full time position is desired.

This unique position will be set in a computer classroom two days per week, where the teacher will facilitate computer lessons for Kindergarten-8th grade students. This could include everything from typing skills to 3D printing to Adobe Photoshop editing to spreadsheet work. There is an established curriculum in a furnished lab, but also flexibility based on interest/experience! This position also includes flexible time to maintain the school website; hours on this are negotiable.

  • Assess students' growth through observation and a variety of assessment methods, including performance and skill, working to meet each student at his/her level.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with students, families and colleagues. Follow the proper channels of communications when communicating with the public, consult the principal before engaging in communications which may have the potential of affecting the reputation of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School
  • Creatively plan and coordinate choral performances for the school and community.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with the public including discretionary use of social media.
  • Engage in all professional development opportunities.
