The ideal candidate will have experience working across physical and virtual computing environments including computer hardware, Operating Systems (Linux), networking, and containerization. If you are passionate about building excellent technical solutions on projects that matter, please apply.Responsibilities:Design and implement hardware/software systems to support Summit TRC and our customersIntegrate and configure computing hardware, network systems, and software into complete system solutionsAutomate the configuration and deployment of new and existing VMs and computing systemsConfigure, integrate, and troubleshoot Operating Systems and network componentsDevelop scripts to automate system, network, and software installation and configuration using tools like Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.Troubleshoot systems level issues across hardware, operating systems, network, and virtualizationContinuously improve and reiterate hardware and software prototypesSupport systems integration, troubleshooting, and test eventsQualifications:Bachelors degreeActive Secret clearanceHands-on experience with hardware/software system integration and troubleshootingStrong experience working in Linux computing environments, including operating system configuration, administration, and troubleshootingExperience with physical and virtual network configuration and administrationStrong understanding of computing system architecture, hardware components, and virtual machinesExperience automating system configuration and deployment using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languagesAbility to troubleshoot problems across multiple layers of a system, from physical hardware and networking through operating systems and applicationsExperience integrating and configuring systems in a lab, test, or operational environments EEO StatementSummit TRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
