E-logic is seeking Computer Engineers (Levels II, III, and IV) to provide Tier 3 engineering support for the centrally-managed Compute and Storage Management Service (CSMS) and Data Center Operations (DCOPS) from Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Engineers will design, test, implement, and upgrade Type-1 Hypervisor environments and Application Virtualization platforms. This job will be in multiple facilities depends on the government needs: Charleston, SC, San Antonio, TX and Washington, DC, with possibilities of remote work with approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Government in the architectural design, engineering, and configuration of Type-1 hypervisor systems (VMware ESXi, vCenter, vROPS/Aria).
- Engineer application virtualization, streaming, presentation, and layering solutions utilizing Citrix Virtual Apps (XenApp), Citrix App Layering, VMware AppVolumes, and ThinApp.
- Conduct regression testing of new software/hardware builds in pre-production lab environments.
- Implement standard configurations, patch management, and execute system-wide production upgrades under strict change management workflows.
- Build, package, and certify application profiles for isolated environments.
- Provide 24x7 Tier 3 technical support and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical infrastructure issues.
Requirements & Technical Qualifications:
- Must hold a formal diploma/written Engineering degree from an accredited institution (Grandfathered experience or general trade technology degrees do not qualify).
- Experience Requirements: Must have 1 year of technical experience in direct support of VMware or Citrix projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
