Job Description

Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Computer Operator 2 for a 7-month onsite assignment with the Georgia Department of Labor (GA DOL) in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience in data center operations, NOC, production control, Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager, and AIX, Linux, and Windows servers. Candidates must be local to the Atlanta area and available to work Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, plus 16 additional hours during the week. Pay Rate: $26–$28 per hour. Remote work is not permitted.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor BPE/TPE transactions and data center operations.
  • Monitor network availability, security, HVAC, electrical systems, and UPS.
  • Support production control and automated job scheduling using Control-M.
  • Monitor distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
  • Coordinate hardware and software maintenance with vendors.
  • Follow change, incident, problem, and asset management procedures.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
  • Monitor LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA network infrastructure.
  • Follow data center safety, fire detection, and fire suppression procedures.

Qualifications

  • Two-year IT certificate/degree or equivalent IT work experience.
  • 2 years of experience in data center operations, NOC, and production control.
  • Experience with Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager, and automated job scheduling.
  • Experience supporting AIX, Linux, and Windows servers.
  • Knowledge of data center security, HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and raised floors.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, SNA, and ITIL.
  • Knowledge of change, incident, problem, and asset management.
  • Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • State or Federal government experience preferred.
  • Must be local to Atlanta, GA, and available for onsite work and the required shift schedule.
