Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is seeking a Computer Operator IV to support one of our large federal agency clients in an onsite role located in College Park, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting regulatory document processing, data management, and records and information management (RIM) activities, and will be motivated, detail-oriented, and client-focused to join our highly collaborative and customer-oriented team.
The objective of this effort is to support the operation of a Document Control Unit by delivering records and information management services across the full lifecycle of records. This includes submission processing, digitization, data entry, quality control, and management of physical and electronic repositories, while supporting the transition to a more efficient, compliant, and largely electronic records environment.
Pay Range: $60,000-$65,000
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and load physical and electronic submissions into electronic repositories
- Maintain electronic file storage and perform ongoing file management activities
- Load emails, notifications, and files into tracking systems
- Perform quality reviews of processed work to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Update and verify entries within electronic repositories and tracking databases
- Prepare and send email notifications to project review teams
- Process electronic submissions, including coding and data entry into government systems
- Research and resolve complex processing issues, providing detailed resolutions
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to tracking systems and task completion
- Respond to client requests and inquiries
- Perform rejection processing, notification handling, and data cleanup activities
- Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs and technical materials
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn and use multiple systems
- Experience with data entry, document processing, or records management activities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, and handling records as needed
