Computer Programming/IT Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

What You'll Do

As Adjunct Faculty, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.

Sample Courses Taught by this Position:

  • Computer Programming (C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript, etc.)

  • Computer Technology

  • Computer Networking

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate who brings a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must have

  • Minimum of a master's degree in computer science, information studies, management information systems, computer engineering, computer information, computer networking, web technologies, cyber security, information security, or field related to current technology areas

  • OR - 18 graduate semester hours in computer science, information studies, management information systems, computer engineering, computer information, web technologies, computer networking or field related to current technology areas and/or professional certification(s) + Master's degree.

  • Commitment to student retention and success.

  • Commitment to development and assessment of student learning.

  • Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning, including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.

  • Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom.

  • Ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting.
