JOB PURPOSE:

Each year students are recruited from the "upper level" computer science classes to be student grader or TA. The student must have been recommended by a Computer Science Professor and be suited for this job.

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

  • Must have passed Computer Science I or equivalent
  • Must have been recommended by a Computer Science Professor
  • Resume, uploaded
  • Cover letter, uploaded

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help students with computing skills needed for classes,.
  • Grade homework for the professors of certain computer science classes. Class will be determined by professor and skill level of grader.

RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:

  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.

SCHEDULE:

  • Flexible, dependent on schedule

RATE OF PAY:

  • $16.30 per hour or current OR minimum wage

  • No Work Study required
