As a Computer Science Intern, you will be performing some of the actual duties of a full-time Information Technology Specialist and gain hands-on experience in an office environment. You will assist Harder’s in-house IT team with supporting and solving issues related to our technology and software for construction project teams. Our internship program is designed to support your career and further your path into entry level IT positions within any organization. Full time summer internships are available for 2027. This position is paid hourly with the possibility of overtime as needed. Please submit a cover letter along with your resume. Computer Science Interns at Harder perform the following daily tasks
Information Technology - Computer Builds: Follow company-prescribed build sheets for enterprise deployments of Windows on new/used computers.
- IT Group Support - Projects may include packing and shipping IT equipment, assisting with the management of IT inventory, assisting with deploying copiers, printers and assist with setup of scan to email/folder on network, and other projects as assigned by senior members of the IT team.
What you will need to be successful in this role:- Must be able to meet deadlines – strong organizational and time management skills are essential
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible with work locations, must be able to travel /relocate for the work term
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Education/Experience:- Demonstrated interest in a career in software development and/or IT
- Preferred degree in computer science or computer engineering
