Role Description The Computer Science Teacher is a full-time, on-site position located in North Miami, FL. This role involves planning and delivering engaging computer science lessons aligned with district standards, using a variety of instructional strategies and technologies. The teacher will design, implement, and refine curriculum units; assess student learning; provide feedback; and maintain accurate records of progress. Daily responsibilities include creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, supporting students’ problem-solving and computational thinking skills, collaborating with colleagues and families, and participating in school-wide professional development and initiatives.\n
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and related concepts, with the ability to explain technical material clearly to learners at different levels.

• Experience or formal training in Computer Science Education, including effective classroom instruction and use of educational technology.
• \n
• Ability to create thoughtful Lesson Plans and contribute to Curriculum Development that align with district standards and best practices.
• \n
• Proficiency in Mathematics sufficient to support computer science topics such as algorithms, logic, and data analysis.
• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• \n
• Valid Florida teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification in Computer Science or Technology Education.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.

• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning and integrate emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches into instruction.
