Computer Science & Technology Teacher
St. Matthias Parish School is looking for a tech-savvy educator to lead our school's digital learning program for the 2026-2027 school year. If you love helping kids master everything from their first keyboarding skills to complex engineering builds, we want to meet you!

This is a year round position with flexible summer work hours.
The Role:
You'll be the heartbeat of our school's technology, split between hands-on instruction and systems management. This is a full-time position for someone who is organized, patient, and passionate about STEM.
Key Responsibilities:
Elementary Instruction: Teach weekly computer classes for grades 1-6, focusing on digital literacy, internet safety, and basic software skills.
Middle School STEM: Lead the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum for grades 7 and 8, facilitating hands-on coding and engineering projects.
Google Workspace Admin: Manage our school's Google platform, including user accounts, permissions, and classroom integration.
Tech Management: Oversee the school's hardware (laptops, tablets, printers) to ensure everything is updated and functional. Make updates to the school website and office welcome TV screen as needed.
IT Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for our outside IT vendor to troubleshoot network issues and plan infrastructure upgrades.
What We're Looking For:
A degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience teaching at the elementary or middle school level.
Familiarity with PLTW curriculum is a major plus (training can be provided).
Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort managing Google Admin Console.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to explain tech concepts in simple terms.
