Title: Computer Support Associate
Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC (Onsite)
Duration: 2+ Year Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 deskside IT support.
- Deploy and replace computers, perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades.
- Image, configure, and troubleshoot PCs.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, including disposal of outdated equipment.
- Update assets and tickets in ServiceNow.
- Follow KB articles and documented support processes.
- Move/lift computers, monitors, and printers (up to 50 lbs).
Required Skills:
- Experience with PC deployment, imaging, hardware refresh, and Windows upgrades.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, desktop support, networking fundamentals, and computer security.
- Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python preferred).
- Experience using Microsoft Office, intranet, and internet applications.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (High School diploma accepted with relevant experience).
- 1+ year of IT/Desktop Support experience preferred; recent IT graduates will also be considered.
