Summary:
This position involves providing onsite deskside Tier 2 support. The role requires performing standard processes and operations that are stable and consistent, with a focus on resolving trouble tickets and supporting infrastructure needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor standard processes or operations, such as imaging computers, replacing printer toner, disposing of outdated assets, and resolving trouble tickets from ServiceNow queues.
  • Document, record, and distribute information, including updating assets in Asset Center and following knowledge base (KB) articles for problem resolution.
  • Manage effective e-mail communications and create/maintain basic documents and records, such as contact lists, process logs, problem incidence reports, and customer information updates.
  • Recognize and resolve problems within pre-established and documented solutions, and report issues that fall outside established procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting processes or operations, including scheduling routine equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory.
  • Apply technical knowledge in supporting processes or operations, such as understanding basic printer operations and troubleshooting end user tickets.
 
Qualifications:
  • 1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered.
  • Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals.
  • Experience with AV/Conference Room support is required.
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, plus intranet and internet functions.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Understanding of computer security policies and general computer security concepts.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $24.00 - $25.50 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
