This position will provide analysis support to Headquarters Cyberspace Capabilities Center for the Algorithm & Cryptographic Transition and support the management of the AF Radio Cryptographic Modernization Program (RCMP). TS/SCI security clearance required for this position. Responsibilities include:
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) across all facets of the Algorithm & Cryptographic Transition Project to include providing gap analysis to identify cryptographic gaps in tactical/strategic systems and perform capability gap identification and analysis, based upon National Security Agency (NSA)-published guidance memos, detailing cryptographic equipment & algorithms that reaching their end-of-life.
Integrate data from multiple sources to show AF enterprise-wide impact of cryptographic algorithm transitions.
Collaborate with diverse teams across the Department of the Air Force (DAF), including operational units, program offices, and senior leadership, to facilitate the modernization process and address any compliance issues.
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, compliance status, and any identified risks or deficiencies. Maintain accurate documentation of the modernization status of all audited radio systems.
Provide input/data to the development of the Algorithm Transition strategic roadmap.
Provide analysis/data to support capability gap and identified vulnerability assessment to include inputs to address the needs for devices and networks transitioning to new devices and/or algorithms.
Provide recommended fielding and implementation plans and oversee transition of thousands of end crypto units securing voice and data communications links and networks supporting air, ground, tactical and strategic communications enterprise-wide to meet NSA deadlines.
Provide conference and meeting planning, develop System Requirements Document, plan & conduct Kickoff Meetings, and review/comment/attend design reviews.
Conduct analysis and provide inputs regarding outreach, education, training, and awareness of new technologies and activities pertaining to Cryptographic and COMSEC capabilities.
Review and recommend processes to manage the KER process, track and report AF KERs to Cyberspace Capabilities Center and up to the AF CIO.

REQUIRED Experience:
Bachelors degree or related job experience
Knowledge of Communication Security (COMSEC) equipment and keying material processes with minimum of two years experience.
Understand controlling authority roles and responsibilities as well as equipment account roles and responsibilities.
Knowledge and experience with strategic level DoD, NSA, and AF security policies and procedures as they pertain to cryptographic and keying material, associated classification guides pertaining to cryptographic algorithms, equipment, and COMSEC keying material.
2+ years staff experience with planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with senior analysts and management to accept and implement recommendations.
2+ years staff experience with communicating effectively, both orally and in writing as part of the staff action officer processes and Task Management Tool
PREFERRED Experience:
Experience with ENVSION highly desired
Experience conducting Capabilities Based Analysis (CBA), Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), and any other analysis requirements to meet requirements outlined in the JCIDS process.
Experience working with Services, Joint Staff, NSA, NRO, and DISA highly desired
PPBE/POM, JCIDS, Space & SATCOM systems/equipment, and COMSEC

In compliance with Illinois' Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
