Position Overview:

The Concessions Associate (Cashier) is responsible for providing a high-quality guest experience by taking and processing food, beverage, and merchandise orders in a fast-paced entertainment environment. This role supports event operations across MSG venues by ensuring efficient service, accurate transactions, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Take food, beverage, and merchandise orders from guests in a timely and friendly manner
• Process cash and cashless transactions accurately using POS systems
• Assist guests with menu selections and product recommendations
• Deliver food and beverages, including in-seat service when required
• Support opening and closing duties for concession stands and bars
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and service areas
• Restock supplies and notify supervisors of inventory needs
• Follow NYC Board of Health regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors during events

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Previous experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or cashier roles preferred
• Comfortable using POS systems and handling transactions
• Must be able to stand for long periods during entire shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and professional demeanor
• Comfortable working in an event-based, high-energy environment

 

Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
