Concession Trailer Driver

New Generation Foods, LLC (Bojangles)

Pay: $30.00 per hour

New Generation Foods is seeking a dependable and experienced Concession Trailer Driver to transport and assist with the operation of our 24-foot Bojangles concession trailer at special events throughout North Alabama.

This is a part-time, seasonal position that will primarily support UNA home football games and select local high school football games, with additional community events throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Safely tow a 24-foot concession trailer between our Bojangles restaurant and event locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Assist with loading, setup, operation support, breakdown, and return of the concession trailer before and after each event.
• Properly position, level, and secure the trailer at event sites.
• Ensure all equipment, supplies, and inventory are transported safely.
• Assist the event team with setup and teardown as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the trailer and work area.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly.
• Represent the Bojangles brand with professionalism and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience towing heavy bumper-pull trailers is required.
• Demonstrated ability to safely maneuver and back trailers into tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and football game schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous food concession, food truck, catering, or mobile food service experience.
• Experience with event setup and logistics.
• Experience operating or transporting concession trailers or similar commercial equipment.

CDL is not required, but applicants must have substantial trailer towing experience and be comfortable operating a large commercial concession trailer.
