Overview:

The Concessions Attendant is responsible for providing fast and friendly food and beverage service to guests during events. This role includes preparing and serving concession items, handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in concession stands.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $5.64 and is tip eligible

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages such as snacks, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and drinks
  • Operate cash registers/POS systems and process cash and card payments accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the concession stand, equipment, and work areas
  • Restock food, beverages, condiments, cups, and supplies throughout the event
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of concession stands before and after events
  • Report inventory shortages or equipment issues to supervisor
  • Follow all company policies, including alcohol service guidelines if applicable
Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs (cases of drinks, boxes, supplies)
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Prior food service or cash-handling experience preferred but not required
  • Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required)
