Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for greeting hotel guests in a warm and sincere manner and providing outstanding customer service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists hotel guests with check-in and reservations • Assists guests with various requests and needs and coordinates details with necessary departments or vendors • Assists with making dinner and golf reservations and provides a professionally written confirmation to the guest • Assists guests with transportation arrangements and directions • Provides detailed information about Mohegan Sun, its property, and the surrounding area to both internal and external guests

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in other areas of Hotel Operations, including Aquai reception and Front Desk • Assists the Front Desk with processing Express Check-outs • Registers guests, assigns rooms, and issues keys • Procures accurate payment methods and manages a daily cash till

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent One year of customer relations experience in a hotel Must be able to effectively communicate in English

Competencies:

Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes • Knowledge of LMS, ACSC, HMS, Espresso, LRS, Timelox, DC-1, Hotel paging system, RPOS, Telecheck systems, and any other software system used in Hotel Operations • Extensive knowledge of the property and local areas and destinations • Possesses a high level of maturity to deal with the most discriminating guest requests and requirements

Training Requirements:

Knowledge of systems used by Hotel Operations Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Office work environment Must be able to stand, reach, bend, or sit for extended periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
