A Brief Overview The primary point of contact for patients requiring specialist care. This role is responsible for coordinating specialist appointments, managing referral workflows, tracking referral status, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, primary care providers, specialists, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient experiences. What you will do · Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and referral sources · Verify referral requirements, insurance authorizations, and eligibility prior to scheduling appointments · Schedule patient appointments with appropriate healthcare providers and services · Track referral status from initiation through completion and follow up on outstanding referrals · Resolve referral-related issues, including authorization delays, scheduling conflicts, and provider network concerns · Prioritize urgent referrals and escalate time-sensitive patient care needs when appropriate Education Qualifications
