Concierge

Pay $16.00 - $18.00/hour DOE

Regular Schedule:
Thursday & Friday: 4:00 PM–7:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Holiday availability is required in addition to the regular schedule. Holiday shifts are generally 10:30 AM–5:00 PM.

There are frequent opportunities to pick up additional hours, including coverage in other departments for candidates who are willing and able to cross-train.

Important: There is one full 40-hour workweek in October that this position will be required to cover. Availability for that week is mandatory and should be confirmed during the interview process.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, welcoming and comfortable serving as a first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors and team members.

Hospitality experience, senior living experience or previous reception/front-desk experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Summary of Duties of the Concierge

The Concierge Specialist provides clerical support; organize and maintain resident, personnel, marketing, maintenance, and resource files.  The Concierge answers telephones, greets guests, and responds to residents' requests and assist in coordination of services to residents.  The Concierge assists in providing services to residents, families, and guests.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Assist residents, families, and visitors with questions and requests
• Receive and distribute packages
• Take and process to-go dinner orders
• Conduct community tours for prospective residents and families
• Stock and maintain the Country Store
• Confirm resident transportation rides and scheduled outings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and public restrooms on weekends
• Provide occasional assistance with additional administrative or hospitality-related tasks as needed

• Positive, professional, and friendly demeanor
• Ability to remain cheerful and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements Upon Hire:

• Must successfully obtain an Idaho State Fingerprint Background Check (facility-paid)
• Must obtain CPR Certification (facility-paid)
• Must complete two full paid days of state-required Relias training
• Must complete approximately two weekdays of front desk training prior to working independently
