JOB SUMMARY


The Guest Services Concierge is responsible for coordinating patient and guest services for the reception areas of Hamilton Medical Center.  The Concierge is the first face of Hamilton to our guests and begins the process for an excellent Hamilton experience.  Acknowledges, greets and assists visitors and interacts in a courteous and helpful manner with patients, families, guests and hospital associates to convey a positive first impression.  Serves as liaison between patient, family and clinical staff.  Seeks a satisfactory and expedited solution to complaints, problems or special needs.  Interfaces effectively with all members of the healthcare team.  Enforces hospital visitation and screening guidelines.  Provides emotional support to families of patients.

As  Team Lead, will train and orient all new associates to the health screener and concierge positions.  Team Lead will monitor schedule for call-outs and make every effort to fill opened times in monthly health screener schedule.  Will monitor supply levels and accept responsibility in the absence of the Supervisor. 


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree preferred. 


Licensure:  N/A


Experience:  Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer service related field.


  • Friendly communicator and desire to help others
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
  • Exemplary and proven customer service skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Analytical ability to investigate complaints and process discrepancies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to quickly learn other programs
