Concrete Carpenter

TradeWorX is hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters and Concrete Finishers for commercial construction projects in the Lewistown, PA area. This position will support active concrete crews with forming, pouring, placement, and finishing work. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, maintaining production standards, and performing physically demanding work safely.

Pay & Schedule:

• $24 $30/hour based on verifiable concrete experience
• Day shift anticipated
• Commercial construction schedule

Job Duties:

• Build, set, brace, and strip concrete forms for slabs, walls, foundations, and related structures
• Assist with concrete placement, pouring, screeding, leveling, and finishing
• Smooth, float, trowel, and texture concrete surfaces to required specifications
• Assist with layout, site preparation, and rebar placement before pours
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, floats, power trowels, and concrete finishing equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready work area

Requirements:

• Commercial concrete forming and/or finishing experience
• Working knowledge of concrete placement, forming systems, screeding, and finishing
• Ability to follow layouts, measurements, blueprints, or project plans
• Ability to perform physical construction work and lift 50+ lbs
• Reliable transportation to jobsites in the Lewistown, PA area
• Strong attendance, safety awareness, and jobsite reliability
