Concrete Construction Estimator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in commercial structural concrete construction. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating a variety of commercial concrete projects, including slab-on-deck, slab-on-grade, low-rise and mid-rise structures, tilt-wall construction, and similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and bids for commercial concrete projects
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, and related materials
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop competitive and accurate project proposals
• Review project costs, labor requirements, and material needs
• Work with project management and operations teams during project turnover
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial structural concrete
• Experience with slab-on-deck, slab-on-grade, low-rise, mid-rise, tilt-wall, or similar concrete construction
• Strong understanding of concrete construction means and methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong estimating, math, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with estimating software preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
