General description: The mechanic will have experience working on equipment related to placing and finishing concrete. Such as concrete pumps, trowel machines, paving machines, early entry saw and vacuums. As well as working on other equipment like Bobcats, Light towers, and generators.
Responsibilities:
Can independently perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Repair and replace worn equipment parts.
Inspects machines, heavy equipment and diagnose defects.
Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers specifications.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
Requirements:
2+ years of mechanical experience working on construction machinery.
Must have a valid driver license.
Has some basic hand tools.
Working conditions:
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten hours per day.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
Able to work on the jobsite where the equipment is used.
