Concrete Laborer - Fort Miller Precast Fort Miller Precast is located in Greenwich, NY, has a full time, year round opening for a Concrete Laborer. The ideal candidate has some construction experience, specifically in the areas of concrete and carpentry. Your role as a Concrete Laborer: Set up wooden and steel forms, often using carpentry skills and basic hand and power tools.Pour and finish concrete.Strip forms and prepare concrete products for shipment, which may involve sealing, patching, etc.Perform basic material handling, loading product onto trailers with an overhead crane, moving steel with a forklift, etc.General housekeeping such as sweeping, cleaning and putting away tools. What were looking for: Perform heavy physical labor.Safely lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.Understand common measurements of length.Access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.Work independently as well as part of a team.Work a flexible schedule, including overtime and Saturdays on occasion.Must be at least 18 years of age.
