Our more than 900 employees self-perform approximately 80% of site groundwork, including clearing, grading, utilities, drainage, concrete, bridges, stone base, and asphalt paving.About the RoleThe Curb Machine Operator safely operates curb-and-gutter equipment on heavy civil and site-development projects. This position supports concrete placement and finishing, establishes string line for accurate alignment and grade, maintains assigned equipment, and follows all safety and incident-reporting procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a curb machine safely and productively to place concrete curb and gutterSet string line to establish alignment and grade for concrete workPerform concrete-finishing duties as neededInspect, clean, maintain, and secure equipment in accordance with company policies and proceduresFollow all safety and incident-reporting requirementsReport equipment issues, safety concerns, and job-site problems promptly to a supervisorWork collaboratively with the crew to meet production and quality expectationsQualificationsExperience operating a curb machine; GPS experience preferredExperience setting string line for concrete workAbility to perform concrete-finishing work as neededAbility to work safely around moving machinery and toolsStrong attention to safety, equipment care, quality, and productivityPhysical RequirementsRegularly work near moving machinery and tools, requiring manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination, quick movement, and staminaLift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing more than 50 poundsUse the legs, hips, shoulders, abdominal muscles, and lower back for sustained physical supportStand or walk for extended periods and climb laddersEqual Opportunity EmployerDrug-Free Workplace
