Concrete Finisher

This hands-on position is responsible for preparing sites, setting forms, placing and finishing concrete, operating construction equipment and power tools, and ensuring all work is completed safely and according to project specifications. Candidates should have experience with concrete flatwork, sidewalks, foundations, and slab-on-grade construction, along with a strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate jackhammers, pumps, loaders, concrete saws and mixers, hammer drills, ride-on trowel machines and walk-behind trowel machines
• Install footers, form panels, sidewalks, slab-on-grade-concrete, control joints and site preparation
• Operate hand and power tools safely; follow OSHA and company safety standards
• Support site logistics including material handling, storage, cleanup, and housekeeping
• Travel to project sites as required, including occasional overnight travel

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5 year's experience in concrete finishing or heavy construction preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, elevations, and measurements
• Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, forming, reinforcement, and curing techniques
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in varying weather conditions, and perform strenuous activity in confined spaces when necessary
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle report

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 Certification
• Demonstrated competencies in communication, teamwork, and client focus
