CONCRETE FINISHER

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces while maintaining high-quality workmanship and adhering to all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set forms, and assist with concrete pours.
• Spread, level, and smooth freshly poured concrete.
• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Apply sealing, curing, and protective compounds as required.
• Install expansion joints and edge forms.
• Repair and resurface damaged concrete.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Monitor concrete curing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Ability to read construction plans and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Experience with stamped or decorative concrete.
• Experience operating skid steers, power trowels, and other construction equipment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
