Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for projects located in or around Erlanger, KY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $37/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Prepare work areas, forms, and subgrades prior to concrete placement
- Place, spread, level, and finish concrete
- Operate hand and power tools used in concrete construction and finishing
- Use screeds, floats, trowels, edgers, and related tools to achieve the required finish
- Cut and install control joints as needed
- Apply broom, smooth, and other specified finishes
- Monitor concrete consistency and appearance throughout the placement and finishing process
- Perform edging, patching, surface repairs, and touch-up work
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Other tasks as assigned
- Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all jobsite safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous concrete finishing or concrete construction experience preferred
- Knowledge of concrete placement, leveling, floating, edging, and finishing techniques
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- OSHA 10; TI may provide qualified candidates
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
