Montana Materials & Construction, A CRH Company, is a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mixed concrete in Anaconda, Butte, Great Falls and Helena, MT.\n \nPay: Based on experience.\u202f\u202f \n \n\u202f \n \nPosition Overview\u202f \n \nWe are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finisher who is capable of independently reading plans, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on a variety of construction and paving projects. The successful candidate will join our team of professionals working on diverse tasks in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. \n \n\u202f \n \nKey Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)\u202f \n\n Ensure a safe work environment by\u202fcomplying with\u202fall safety policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and using\u202fappropriate tools\u202fand equipment for every task.\u202f \n \n\n Strictly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environments.\u202f \n \n\n Read and interpret project plans and specifications independently to perform concrete work with precision and accuracy.\u202f \n \n\n Independently form, pour, and finish concrete to grade, delivering a fine finish on all types of concrete work.\u202f \n \n\n Utilize equipment such as floats, trowels, screeds, templates, hand shovels, motorized tamps, push brooms, and straight edges (up to fifteen feet long) confidently and safely.\u202f \n \n\n Perform physical motions including stretching, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, throwing, walking, hammering, standing, reaching, and rubbing as required by the job.\u202f \n \n\n Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and supplies, sometimes\u202fin excess of\u202f100 pounds with\u202fassistance.\u202f \n \n\n Follow directions from managers\u202fregarding\u202fdaily tasks and project-specific expectations.\u202f \n \n\n Perform other duties as assigned, transferring between tasks as project demands require.\u202f \n \n\n \n\u202f \n \nQualifications\u202f \n\n High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not\u202frequired.\u202f \n \n\n Demonstrated experience in reading plans, and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for construction projects.\u202f \n \n\n Previous\u202frelated experience in the construction field is a plus.\u202f \n \n\n \n\u202f \n \nWork Requirements\u202f \n\n Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.\u202f \n \n\n Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures\u202fas prescribed by\u202fcompany policy.\u202f \n \n\n Willingness to work in a team environment and\u202fassist\u202fco-workers or supervisors with other duties as\u202frequired.\u202f \n \n\n Must be willing to travel and work remote job sites, as\u202frequired.\u202f \n \n\n Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.\u202f \n \n\n Compliance with all OSHA and/or MSHA regulations, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Face Shield, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, and Safety Vest.\u202f \n \n\n \n\u202f \n \nKnowledge and Skill Requirements\u202f \n\n Comprehensive knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and paving projects.\u202f \n \n\n Ability to independently read plans and perform all duties associated with forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.\u202f \n \n\n Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.\u202f \n \n\n Strong understanding of verbal and written instructions, and the ability to communicate effectively in both formats.\u202f \n \n\n Ability to use equipment and tools safely and efficiently.\u202f \n \n\n \n\u202f \n \nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements \n\n Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility. \n \n\n Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. \n \n\n Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed. \n \n\n Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions. \n \n\n Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments. \n \n\n Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely. \n \n\n Reasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. \n \n\n \n\u202f \n \n\u202f \n \nApply today and join a team that values your expertise!\u202f \n \nWhat CRH Offers You\n\n Highly competitive base pay\n Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs\n Group retirement savings program\n Health and wellness programs\n* An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion\n \nAbout CRH\n \nCRH has a long and proud heritage.
