Position Overview
Burrow Global is seeking skilled Industrial Concrete finisher for a two project opportunity in the Greater Houston Area. This role involves support across two major industrial projects, starting immediately at a petrochemical facility in Channelview, TX for approximately two weeks before transitioning to a primary project location in Deer Park, TX through February 2027. Candidates must have Sonotube and concrete footing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Layout, measure, build, and set concrete forms for industrial applications.
- Perform Sonotube installation, alignment, and concrete pouring for structural piers/footings.
- Set formwork, rebar/mesh, and pour/finish small concrete slabs (e.g., 6' x 4' equipment pads/foundations).
- Ensure proper leveling, plumbing, bracing, and structural integrity of all formwork prior to pours.
- Assist with site prep, excavation support, and clean-up related to concrete placement.
- Adhere strictly to facility safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of concrete forming, Sonotube installation, and finishing experience in industrial, petrochemical, or commercial construction settings.
- Transportation & Availability: Must have reliable transportation to report to Channelview, TX initially, and transition seamlessly to Deer Park, TX. Ability to start onsite immediately.
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States. (TWIC card is NOT required for this position).
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for full day shifts.
