JOB SUMMARY
Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden or steel forms for box culverts and other misc. structures. Experience looking at plans.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Place and finish concrete roads, driveways, median, sidewalks, curbs, bridge decks and other concrete structures.
- Level and screed concrete
- Grouting and repairing concrete
- Achieving different concrete finished
- Using hand and power tools
- Help setup concrete pours (final grade adjustment and form setting)
- Physical work is expected as a concrete finisher and assist the crews as necessary
- Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Educational requirements: High school/ GED and minimum 2 years of related work experience
- Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.
- Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
- Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
- Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
