Build What Stands the Test of Time

We’re looking for a craftsperson who can turn specification into structure. Guided by a Foreman, you’ll place, finish, protect, and repair concrete with a commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency.

Your Impact

From a clean pour to a flawless finish, your work ensures sidewalks, slabs, and structures meet exacting grades, pitches, and aesthetics. You’ll handle the full scope—from formwork to finishing—so every edge, joint, and surface performs as designed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Position concrete delivery trucks; adjust and move discharge chutes.
2. Guide and place concrete with come-alongs or shovels, covering inaccessible areas.
3. Screed and float to specified grade and depth; finish with straightedges, power screeds, floats, trowels, or abrasive stones.
4. Cut expansion joints and crisp edges using edging tools and jointers.
5. Repair defects with grinders, chisels, or fresh concrete/epoxy compounds.
6. Install reinforcing steel and base materials for subgrade preparation.
7. Read blueprints and project details to establish form dimensions and specs.
8. Cut and assemble lumber or prefabricated forms using hand and power tools.
9. Erect and secure forms with braces, tie rods, nails, or bolts to maintain exact dimensions.
10. Confirm flatwork layout and alignment according to the plan.
11. Support general labor tasks, including base material placement and pour preparation.
12. Wear PPE consistently and uphold site safety standards.
13. Collaborate with team members to maintain safe, efficient operations.
14. Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a concrete finisher; straightedge finishing tool proficiency is required.
• Physical resilience and endurance for demanding field work.
• Meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent coordination, balance, and depth perception.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Availability for variable locations and schedules, including overtime/weekends when needed.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending, squatting, and crawling in confined spaces are part of the job. Occasionally lift/move/push up to 75 pounds. Close and color vision are required. You’ll navigate uneven terrain, use stairs, and work in active construction zones with moving equipment, high noise, and temperature extremes. Follow all safety protocols at all times.

Earn More with a Sign-On Bonus

Qualified hires may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus, subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. Eligibility, payment timing, continued-employment conditions, and any repayment obligations are set forth in the Company’s Sign-On Bonus Agreement. Eligibility must be met and the agreement executed to receive the bonus.
