Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Structures Foreman with strong vertical cast-in-place concrete experience for NCDOT heavy civil projects across North Carolina.
This is a field leadership role overseeing structural concrete operations including retaining walls, box culverts, and formed concrete structures.
This role is intended for experienced foremen or superintendent-level candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead vertical concrete and structural construction operations
- Manage full formwork systems from setup to stripping
- Build retaining walls, box culverts, and structural concrete forms
- Read and execute structural and rebar drawings
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors
- Oversee jobsite safety and production
- Track materials and crew time (HeavyJob preferred)
Requirements
- 7+ years in structural or heavy civil concrete work
- Experience leading crews on vertical concrete projects
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems
- Ability to read structural and rebar drawings
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
- Willingness to travel across North Carolina
Preferred Experience
- NCDOT or DOT project experience
- Box culvert and retaining wall experience
- HeavyJob software experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
