The Concrete Foreman will oversee a single crew, ensuring quality and efficiency in all concrete-related construction activities. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this role emphasizes supervisory duties with occasional hands-on involvement. The position is primarily site-based with minimal travel expected.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the concrete crew
Ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards
Interpret and implement construction blueprints and specifications
Communicate effectively with management and crew to resolve issues
Monitor safety protocols and enforce compliance on site
Perform hands-on concrete work as needed to support the team
Report progress and challenges to the Construction Manager
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Construction Management
Strong team leadership skills
Proficient in blueprint reading
Experience with project scheduling
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of quality control processes
