Responsibilities
- Construct and set concrete forms for footings, walls, and slabs to the desired depth and pitch.
- Ensure forms are properly built and aligned before each concrete pour.
- Load, haul, and carry materials and equipment to the work area.
- Bend, form, tie, and install rebar and wire mesh as needed.
- Install fixtures and hardware in freshly poured concrete.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at the end of each day.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the foreman or superintendent.
Requirements
- Background in concrete or form work is required.
- Must be able to handle heavy materials and equipment on a regular basis..
- Knowledge of concrete forms, rebar, and general concrete construction.
- Comfortable operating hand and power tools.
- Available for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and works well with a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screening.
