Concrete Laborer / Construction Laborer

Location: Projects throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay:$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

Before applying, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be willing and able to travel to various jobsites throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia
• Must be able to wear a respirator
• Must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face
• Mustaches are permitted; beards and goatees are not
• No exceptions can be made to the facial hair requirement due to OSHA regulations
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding construction work
• Must be able to work outdoors and in various jobsite conditions
• Must be dependable and safety-conscious

Important Travel Information

This role requires travel to different jobsites throughout the region.

• No per diem
• No travel pay
• No mileage reimbursement

Candidates must be comfortable commuting to assigned jobsites with their own vehicle.

Job Responsibilities

• Concrete repair and restoration
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Surface preparation
• Formwork and carpentry support
• Rebar installation and replacement
• Expansion joint installation
• Caulking and sealant application
• Protective coating application
• Carbon fiber reinforcement installation
• Material handling and general construction labor
• Following all company and jobsite safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous construction, concrete, demolition, masonry, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience:

• $20.00 - $26.00/hour for general laborers and candidates with limited experience
• Up to $30.00/hour for experienced concrete and construction laborers with strong related backgrounds
