Concrete Laborer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Laborers for projects located in the Penrose, CO area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $22-24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Assist skilled crews with repairs to bridge structures
• Perform demolition of damaged concrete and surrounding materials
• Operate a jackhammer and other basic demolition tools
• Manually move concrete debris, construction material, and equipment
• Assist with batching, mixing, transporting, and placing concrete
• Prepare work areas for concrete repair and installation
• Assist with basic concrete finishing when qualified
• Use hand tools and basic construction equipment safely
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials
• Remove debris and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled craftworkers
• Work safely around active construction operations and equipment

Requirements:

• Any of the following backgrounds would be a strong fit:
  • Construction labor
  • Concrete labor
  • Bridge or highway construction
  • Demolition
  • Jackhammer operation
  • Concrete repair
  • Concrete placement
  • Hand-float finishing
  • Masonry labor
  • Heavy civil construction
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Repeatedly lifting and moving construction materials
• Performing demolition and jackhammer work
• Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and carrying material
• Working outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Working around concrete dust, noise, debris, and construction equipment
• All PPE
