Location: Miami, FL 

Starting Pay: $25-$30/hr for first 90 Days Probation + Potential for Performance Pay and Bonuses | Full-Time W2 | Monday-Saturday

Ozzy's Golden Construction is a luxury design-build firm hiring a Concrete Form Carpenter who can also lead roof truss installations on custom homes across South Florida. You'll work alongside a Master Builder with 35+ years of experience, on projects where your craftsmanship is the standard -- not an afterthought. 

This is a dual-role position. Your daily work is structural shell construction. When the project hits the truss and roof framing phase, you step up and lead it. 

Your Daily Work -- Shell Crew 

Reinforced concrete construction (footers, stem walls, slabs, bond beams) 

Formwork setup, alignment, and stripping 

Rebar tying and placement 

CMU block wall construction 

Rough carpentry and site work 

Your Specialty -- Roof Trusses & Wood Framing 

When this phase is active, you lead it: 

Setting engineered roof trusses on CBS structures (hip roofs, bracing, hurricane straps) Wood framing above bond beam -- top plates, headers, load-bearing walls 

Roof sheathing to FBC wind-code nailing requirements 

Hurricane strap and tie-down installation per Florida Building Code 

Reading structural and truss layout drawings independently 

What We're Looking For 

10+ years in construction -- you've seen it all 

3+ years specifically installing trusses on residential projects 

South Florida CBS construction experience 

Florida Building Code knowledge, especially hurricane tie-downs 

Can read structural and truss plans without someone walking you through them 

Spanish fluency strongly preferred -- our crew operates in Spanish 

Photos or references from previous truss/framing work required 

Bonus Points 

Concrete finishing skills (slab work, trowel finish) 

Impact window/door installation experience 

Experience leading small crews (2-4 guys) through a phase

Compensation 

90-day performance review with pay re-evaluation
