A Concrete Saw Operator is responsible for operating a walk-behind concrete saw to make clean and accurate cuts on highway pavement as directed safely and efficiently. Will require the ability to repair or assist in changing blades or repair machinery using hand tools and power tools. The ideal candidate will also have experience and knowledge of proper concrete finishing and sealing techniques Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Saw Foreman, operate the walk-behind saw efficiently.Must be able to bring the saw blade up to speed while keeping it straight.Must be able to complete tasks promptly.Must be able to conduct post-cut inspections.Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.Work in a variety of weather conditions, including temperatures over 85 degrees and below 40 degrees.Perform all other duties as assigned.
