Perform tasks involving physical labor, including operation of a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare concrete forms, cut, carry and tie rebar, rake and screed concrete, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. Assist other craft workers as assigned.
Essential Functions
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in the production of pre-stress and precast concrete products; perform manual work in preparing surfaces and forms
Measure, cut and install rebar, weld-plates, insulation or any other products required in the panel/product being worked on
Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
Ability to read and follow directions on blueprints and drawings.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
Work full-time, Monday through Thursday with the possibility of overtime hours
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Contribute to company morale and group commitment to goals
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education, Training and Experience
Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in concrete production work.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Ability to work independently or as a team player to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects. Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend at waist or in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
Good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Excellent stamina is required.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Ability to walk on uneven surfaces and climb steps.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit oral instructions.
Ability to comply with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.
Work Context
Regularly works near moving objects, both inside and outside in climate conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and concrete
Noise level is generally loud. Hearing protection is required
Safety/Steel toe boots, hard hats and safety glasses required
