Job Overview
As a Concrete Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our estimators, superintendents and project management teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of projects. This is a full-time role, but there is a part-time option as well. The position demands someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is a plus).
- 5 years of experience in concrete construction, preferably in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural details, and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency.
- Must be available to work in the office daily.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain accurate project records and documentation related to concrete activities.
- Support the project team with coordination, scheduling and communication with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Assist the project team with the organization of On-Screen Takeoff and project management software.
- Support the project team in responding to and sending out RFPs and RFQs.
- Conduct site visits and capture photographs as required for project documentation and progress tracking.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to the concrete scope of work.
- Work closely with field crews to resolve technical or constructability issues promptly.
- Participate in project meetings with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to provide updates on concrete operations.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the project runs smoothly.
What We Offer
- Pay Range: $70,000/year.
- Full-Time Position (Part-Time optional).
- Working Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with 30 min lunch).
