Description
The Concrete Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing self-performed concrete scopes from pre-construction through close-out
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts and cost reports
- Coordinating with large general contractors, superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers
- Overseeing procurement, sequencing, logistics and quality control for concrete operations
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, site requirements and project specifications.
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication with internal and external teams
- Supporting business development by leveraging relationships with major GCs
Profile
A successful Concrete Project Manager should have:
- Proven expertise managing concrete package on mid-to-large commercial projects
- A background working with or for large general contractors strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of self-perform concrete operations and field coordination
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening and obtain site badging/clearances
- Experience delivering projects in the DC Metro / Northern Virginia market
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
