Concrete Sales Representative

The Sherwood Companies have a proven track record of completing a variety of projects from General Construction, to Construction Management and Design Build Projects for both public and private owners. A brief summary of the types of projects include, urban expressways, bridges, underground utilities, dam construction, asphalt/concrete paving and water/wastewater treatment plants.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sales revenue generation activities and results for their assigned account portfolio. Following the direction of the General Manager of Greenhill Concrete, the Sales Representative will achieve the assigned sales goals and demonstrate a commitment to these goals through work ethic, integrity, passion and respect for the Company and its associates. This role is classified as safety sensitive.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE

• Lead by example that safety is the number one priority
• Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of ready mixed concrete, services, and products
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
• Manage and build account portfolio
• Review operational metrics to forecast sales and determine profitability
• Determine price schedules and discount rates
• Confer with superintendents, technical personnel or other departments to coordinate activities
• Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Must have a clean driving record
• Sales experience in industry or related field preferred
