Job Details

We're seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead large-scale structural concrete operations on a major heavy civil infrastructure project in the Southwest.

This role is ideal for someone who understands concrete production from the ground up, can lead crews through complex structural pours, and knows how to safely execute high-volume concrete operations while maintaining quality, schedule, and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily structural concrete operations
• Manage concrete crews, foremen, subcontractors, equipment, and production goals
• Coordinate formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds, concrete placement, curing, and sequencing activities
• Develop and execute look-ahead schedules and work plans
• Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and production performance
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality control, and safety teams
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Lead pre-task planning meetings and mentor craft supervision personnel
• Identify and resolve field execution issues before they impact schedule or budget

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of heavy civil, industrial, infrastructure, bridge, or structural concrete experience
• Experience leading complex cast-in-place concrete operations
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and production planning
• Proven experience supervising foremen and self-perform craft labor
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Highly Desired Experience:

• Water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Clarifiers, headworks, aeration basins, pump stations, and process structures
• Mass concrete placements
• Bridge, dam, industrial, power, or other large structural concrete projects
• EFCO, DOKA, MEVA, Symons, gang forms, and other formwork systems
